Actually, armor doesn't have a level requirement in Guild Wars. It's completely possible (but slightly expensive at your level) to get the highest armor possible at only around level 3 or so in Nightfall. For your information, max amor ranges from 60-80 depending on which profession you have. The caster professions have 60, Rangers, Dervishes, and Assassins have 70, and Warriors and Paragons have 80. Once you reach that armor level, you can't get any higher (although you can always purchase better looking armor, but those usually come at a higher cost).

The same goes for weapons. If you go to this site, you can scroll down and see the max damage that each type of weapon has.

By the way, have fun and I hope you enjoy Guild Wars =D. If you need any help, you can message me in-game. My main character is Destromath Warrior.

If you visit the armor crafter, he will tell you what materials you need to craft your armor. The crafters will only show you armor sets that you can wear, and the armor level of the armor does not require you to be of a specific level.

Depends on the campaign(s) you own - but to get it all you need to do is get there and have the materials and money to be able to make it. No other requirements. That is, as long as I have the money and materials, if I can get to Droknar's Forge in Prophecies, I can craft max armor even if I'm still level 3 when I get there (actual level may vary).

The earliest you can get max armor in NF is at Consulate Docks which you will get to before you leave Istan. You can reach it naturally by following the primary quest/mission line(its the third mission) or by getting another player to ferry you from Kam into there.

You can also get max armor in Boreal Station, which is the first outpost in EoTN. You only have to be at least lvl10 and complete the quest "A Hole in Istan" to get there.
